SENIOR PASTOR SELECTION

 

We are pleased to announce Aaron McRae as Hillside Community Church’s next senior pastor. The church responded to affirm Aaron by an overwhelmingly positive vote.  We are grateful for God’s faithfulness through this process and are excited about Hillside’s future. Aaron will officially started the weekend of May 5-6, 2012.  

AARON MCRAE

Aaron is currently serving as one of the pastors at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Chandler, AZ where he has served in multiple roles, including overseeing Adult Ministries, Creative Arts, as well as serving on the Teaching and Executive Lead teams. Aaron was born and raised in High Point, NC, attended UNC-Greensboro for his undergraduate degree and earned his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Aaron began following Christ at the young age of 6. He surrendered to a call to ministry after college and has been in ministry for over 14 years, serving churches in North Carolina as well as in the Chicagoland area prior to Arizona. Aaron and his wife Holly have been married for over 11 years and have 3 incredible children Olivia (9), Kate (8) and Will (6). The McRae's love spending time together whether its playing games, hiking or just being outside. Aaron enjoys a variety of sports, reading, playing guitar, and food.
