NEW TO HILLSIDE

As a first time guest, we know you have plenty of questions.  Here are a few answers we hope will help you get the most out of your visit.  If you have additional questions, please feel free to call our church office.

Where are you located?

Where do I park?

The easiest way to park is to follow the signs on Haven Avenue and park at Chaffey College.  Our shuttles will then take you to the campus.  You can also park on our church campus if that’s more comfortable for you.  Parking attendants will help you park.

How should I dress?

Wear what you are comfortable in.  We are not a shirt-and-tie kind of church.

Where do my kids go?

Thank you for not bringing infants, toddlers, or pre-schoolers into the Worship Center.  Located in Building 2 is what we call ‘Noah's Park,” where we provide a warm, nurturing and well-supervised program for your child.  Your child will be much happier with our trained volunteers than in the worship service.  During the service we have a paging system to notify you if you are needed.  Those seated around you will appreciate your thoughtfulness.  Greeters at the Information Center (east patio area) will direct you to the proper classroom.

What happens during the service?

The first part of the service is worship through music.  Words to the songs are projected on screens if you want to sing along.  After worship, one of our pastors will speak to your heart using Bible Scripture.  We celebrate communion the first service of each month.

Should I put money in the offering?

Please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering.  The offering is for regular attendees who consider Hillside their church home.

What happens after the service?

After the service, stop by the Information Center, right outside of the sanctuary. You can get information about the many ways Hillside wants to serve you and your family. Coffee and snacks are also available at the Holy Grounds coffee shop.
