Kids are important at Hillside Community Church. That's why we've created a special place just for them. It's called Noah's Park and it makes preschoolers wish every day were Saturday or Sunday.

First-time guests are welcomed to Noah's Park at the Loading Dock, where they are checked in to our security system. Then they move on to their age-level classrooms, each with its own unique theme...

	A room where babies learn that church is a place to feel God's love as they're loved, rocked and entertained by volunteer parents.
	Walkers find a fun space to roam with toys ideal for their developmental stage. Windows into Noah's Landing give walkers a preview of the teaching time they will receive when they turn two.
	Twos are exploring the world around them. At this age kids begin to experience our teaching time and love learning songs and even a memory verse.
	Threes become more interactive, which is seen in the way they begin playing with other kids and talking with parent volunteers about what they're learning.
	Fours and fives interact happily with their friends as they participate with the fun activity centers in the classroom. Every week they find something new to try.
	Kindergarteners are developing a sense of mastery, and they love to show off what they've learned as they interact with others in the discussion time.

And there's a special place called Noah's Landing, where kids enjoy singing together, drama, dance, video, Bible stories, games, and a memory verse every week.

A fun outdoor playground permits children to work off that excess energy while they're building relationships with other children and their adult leaders.

Parents

Parents actively shape the spiritual lives of their kids at Hillside, where each age group in our Noah's Park ministry is staffed by a team of parent volunteers.

Health and Security

Health and security are important to parents and to us. Our paging system will notify you during the worship celebration if your child should need you. We run background checks on all our volunteers, and our numbered security system assures that every child is linked to his or her parent. For the health of our children, we cannot accept any sick child.

Noah's Park Lunch

Join other preschool families Sunday mornings after the 10:45 service for a quick bite to eat- “kid-friendly” food and a good time. We meet the last Sunday of every month down at the Pavilion. Contact Shelley Majors at smajors@hillsideministry.org or (909) 980-2191 for more information.

M.O.M's Playgroup

(Moms Meeting Other Moms) Playgroup. Need a place to get some adult time but still bring the kids? Join other mothers at Victoria Arbors Park on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Contact Shelley Majors at smajors@hillsideministry.org or (909) 980-2191 for more information.

Preschool Service Opportunities

Noah's Park is looking for adult volunteers to serve with kids age 2 through Kindergarten during our weekend service times. This involves doing activity centers with the kids, taking them to the playground and teaching time, and assisting during a snack and discussion time. No mid-week preparation necessary. Nursery Volunteer

Care for babies while parents attend service
Where: Duck Pond and Turtle Bay

Classroom Volunteer (2yrs - Kindergarten)

Serves on team assisting with crafts/activities snack time, taking kids to playground and teaching time, No preparation required.
When: Weekend Sevices. One month on and one month off.
Where: Hay Loft, Desert Dunes, Chill Zone, Jungle Hut

Classroom Substitutes

Fill in for regular volunteers on an "as needed" basis

Provide summer coverage for Preschool classes.

Noah's Landing Team

Teaching team involved in preparing, performing skits to teach lesson to kids 2 years to Kindergarten.

Registration Team

Greet guests and help them get their children registered and taken to class.

At Home Help

Assist with cutting, hole punching, organizing, preparing etc. items to be used in class or at various events. Need varies - not every week.

Help to set up, tear down, and serve during preschool events.

Help to set up, tear down, and serve for monthly preschool luncheon.
When: 4th Sunday of the month

Taking home Nursery laundry, washing, folding, and returning it on a weekly basis.

Take pictures during preschool events

Childcare

Provide childcare as needed during meeting or events for kinds form infancy to 6th grade.

Noah's Park Lunch Calling Team

Call recent guests to invite them to upcoming luncheon. Attend luncheon every other month and visit with new guests. 2-4 calls every other month.
When: A few days prior to luncheon

Weekend Set-Up

Set up classrooms prior to the weekend.
When: Thursday afternoon, Friday, or Saturday depending on building usage.

Shopping

Shop for items needed for preschool ministry and its events. Save and submit receipts for reimbursement.
