MEET THE STAFF

Steve Alaniz — Worship Band Musician, Woodwinds

Ken Robertson Where were you born? El Monte, CA

Do you have any siblings? 1 brother and 1 sister (I'm the oldest)

Where did you attend high school?Upland and Alta Loma High Schools

What is your post high school education? Degree from Cal State Fullerton

What is your job history in your field? 18 years of professional musician, woodwinds

Do you have any other jobs currently? Teach Music at the Arts Academy, University of LaVerne, and Ontario Music

When did you become a Christian? Grew up Catholic, went to Foothill Baptist, accepted Christ when I was 16

Are you married? Kids? Married to Patricia and has two stepkids

What are your hobbies? Being an auto mechanic, tinkering on cars

Who is the most influential person you've had in your life not including your mom and/or dad? Why? Jim Brown, my music teacher

Who is a famous person you'd like to meet? Why? Pat Matheny, guitar player

Who is your favorite musical artist or group? Stan Getz

What radio station is on most often in your car? 810 AM

What is your favorite kind of food? Thai

What is your favorite restaurant? Thai Smile
