Matthew Brian France

I, Matt France (31), am a Pastor who loves Christ and loves to show it through my love for others. My faith and walk with Christ have grown steadily since I became a Christian in 1993. I believe the Lord's hand saved and gifted my life for ministry in service to others. God has faithfully led me through many seasons of growth in my education, experience in ministry as well as under amazing mentoring from fellow brothers in Christ. I began my college career centered around a baseball scholarship from Concordia University. The scholarship was a blessing and of course a dream come true but then God began to open other doors and I allowed Him to mold my college education into one centered around Christ, finishing at Vanguard with a Bachelor of Science degree in Religious Studies with an emphasis in Ministry & Leadership.

I was at Ocean Hills Community Church for the past 8-½ years before moving to the beautiful area of Rancho Cucamonga and Hillside Community Church. The Lord has given me a passion for Youth with a desire to see their walks with Christ grow. The Lord has allowed me to work up the youth ministry ladder. I began on that first rung as a High School Youth Intern, then grew into a full time High School Ministry Associate overseeing student leadership, retreats, events, missions, administration including financials, to then becoming a High School Youth Pastor 4 years ago. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching and shepherding High School students. At the leading and empowering of the Holy Spirit I have been enabled to council students and families, develop programs, outreach events and missions. Throughout my ministry experiences I have been blessed to see lives change by the power of Christ while emphasizing on relational ministry.

The Lord has also blessed me with a beautiful family consisting of wife-Monika (31), daughter Jordyn (9), Daughter-Skyler (6), Son-Bradyn (4.5), and Son-Gavyn (2). My family is also committed to supporting Ministry. My wife has served a number of ways in Ministry over the years from late night counseling sessions, guest speaking, involvement in women's ministry, being a small group leader as well as facilitating small group leadership training in both High School and Women's Ministry settings. Some of the things I enjoy are coaching baseball, surfing, snowboarding, paintballing, learning, family time, hanging out with students in fellowship, and worshipping the Lord.
