ONLINE GIVING - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is online giving secure? Is it safe?
Yes it is! For your protection, we have taken a number of steps to maximize the security of financial transactions that are accepted on the Hillside Church website. Not only is it safe, but it's fast. All transactions are encrypted, starting at your computer and going all the way to the bank. Hillside Community Church also does not store your credit card or eCheck information.
When are gifts processed?
You can give now, or schedule recurring gifts at a frequency you determine. You can change, disable or delete future scheduled contributions at any time.
What if I want to cancel or change my online giving?
You may cancel or make changes to future scheduled contributions at any time. After a contribution has processed by the bank, you cannot make changes to it online.
What if I change credit cards or want to adjust the date or amount of a scheduled contribution?
You can edit, disable or delete a future scheduled contribution at anytime, including the credit card, date, frequency and amount.
Can I direct my Giving?
You can designate gifts to the General Fund or to the Building Fund (Our Finest Hour campaign). From time to time special mission funds or offerings may also be made available online.
Will I still receive a contribution statement?
Yes, we will mail periodic and year-end giving statement directly to your home address, assuming Hillside has your up-to-date address information.
Will my online gifts be included on my Statement of Contributions?
Yes, they will be included.
Can I view my past giving history online?
Within two working days after you “Create Account” for online giving, you will be able to view your giving history, securely online. This includes all contributions given in-person or from the website, by check or credit card, for two years (the current year, and one prior).
What about Fees?
There is no cost to you. Hillside Community Church pays a small transaction fee.
